As a human, we spend our whole life finding food and habitat, earning money, and chasing our dreams. However, we will stop breathing and lay in the coffin at the end of life. If we couldn’t escape from death, what is the meaning of our birth? We are unique compared to all species in the world because of our innovative behaviours and intricate civilisations. The biggest difference between us and other species in this world is we have our beliefs and religion.

Religion fills the human soul with a ton of meanings. Religion encourages us to communicate with God because we are creation of God. God is a universal spirit which is related to sacred things. While it is indeed important to humans, as it gives us the purposes of life. Religion binds the society and nation together, as well as us. Therefore, study of religion is also a part of what makes us us. It is about bringing people together and finding the greater meaning of life.

We need the beliefs in this world to find inner peace within ourselves. Our beliefs define how we see the world and help us understand the meanings of life. At the same time, we have to learn to be grateful. As we are all creatures from our sacred God. Besides that, due to the reason of without god, we would not even exist. With the presence of beliefs, we can find the origin of human beings and understand what makes us us.

In addition, also because of the community of worship, our beliefs could provide us not only the spiritual and emotional growth but also a network of support, to people in all phases of their lives. Therefore, we need beliefs to be as the main pillar for our mind, soul, and body in the sense of mentality and physicality. This is also considered as an essential feeling of belongings with the belief and worship to our god.

Furthermore, we could be more positive and energetic towards lives by standing side by side with God, it is like people are getting better every day with the spirit of God. In my opinion, together in a line and becoming a religious person which is full of all good characteristics, as it is the central part of our identity that would make us be appreciated by good things and good deeds whenever or wherever we go in this universe.

We need to have religion to live a life of faith. Believe in something that always keeps us on the right track. I think this is literally what makes us us. A greater source of connection with a kind of mysterious power that makes us us. I am glad and feel so much grateful that we have got a chance to take this subject, Study Of Religion as one of the main subjects that should be taken by students in their high institution. Therefore, we have gained and acquired something extra out of the syllabus and could be able to become a holistic person inside-out. Not only perfect in the perspective of an intellectual person but also a religious person fulfilled with the best criteria.
